My grandmother, Sarah Dumont Ten Eyck Bishop.
I don't remember this photo being taken, but it was in my grandparent's kitchen nook. It is the only photo I have of us together, and this was probably when I first met her. She died shortly thereafter.

Barbara, what a wonderful photograph! Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.
Thank you both for your nice compliments. After posting this, I've decided to do my first timeline of her life.
What a lovely photograph!
Thank you Lisa.
What a nice photo! I'm just catching up on missed blogs from the past two weeks. This one really caught my eye. It's too bad you don't remember the moment, but now you have the photo.
Thank you Heather.
That is a fantastically gorgeous photo. And it reminds me of the breakfast "nook" in my grandparents kitchen.
What a great photo. From the body language, it looks like you two were having a good time and great conversation. Thanks for sharing this image of your grandmother.
Thank you Michelle and Amy. To all of you, I really appreciate your comments.
