Thank you ladies. I don't know about the darling part, and yes, I am positive she made the hat (my father was in the Navy). My clothes were new, but I dressed like a child when I was older. Because my sisters were 4 and 6 yrs. younger, so say I'm 10, dressed like a 4 yr. old!

I just noticed the same pattern when I scanned these! Dee, you are so sweet, can you hear me laughing. And, I think my mother must have had extra time on her hands to do the hat (but I was the only child at that point).
