Welcome to my Genealogy Blog.

Why not spend a minute or two at my Blog to see if there is anything interesting to read. Perhaps I've written something about your ancestor, gave a hint on how to locate something, provided a different way to do research, or just gave a glimpse into the world of genealogy research through words or photos. I try to make it light and enjoyable.

My roots are from New England (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire), New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Wyoming, and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada.

Please check out the labels on the right side for articles. The header tabs at the top are a work in progress.

I also have a blog called Seeing New England. Why not visit it, to get a feeling for the area.

Wow, what a gorgeous home! When I bring the husband home to meet the family, we'll have to try to visit it.

Thank you both with your "Wows." I've always wanted to see the house too, and at long last, did.

I add my "wow" - that house takes my breath away. Must get up to New England before too long....

I love the Mark Twain house. I grew up not too far from there.

Absolutely beautiful! I think photos of this home were on a recent TV bio/documentary I watched on Mr. Clemens. I still think of him being from Missouri and forget that he lived in many different places. The show I watched talked about how he was on the lecture circuit well into his senior years because the family's financial situation had bottomed out. It was really quite sad, I thought..... Thanks for sharing these photos!
