Goodnow Library, Sudbury, MA
One of my earliest ancestors, Thomas Goodenow (1608 - 1666) lived in Sudbury.
Library was named after a descendant of Thomas.
History and Genealogy Section, through the door (below), and expanding into the oldest part of the library (see NEHGS Register, in the unlocked outer room).

Lovely pictures, Barbara. An ancestor we share! and, I may actually be descended in 2 very distinct ways, depending on how the mysterious Lamphere line turns out. I expect to make it over there sometime - don't have a good excuse right now. How are the genealogy resources? Missed you at the Bash!
Hi Diane,
I'll keep my fingers cross about this line. Would be neat being related, along with Midge. Genealogy resources are excellent. I neglected to mention that they are very strict as to using the room, you sign in, show id. Copies only .10, a big plus, even with the 12 pages I made. Not sure if they have more or things Boston doesn't have though. Thank you Diane, I just got cold feet yesterday...for the next Bash, I'll be there.
I so love the places you get to research in, they are beautiful, and inspiring. Love this series!
