My blog has been changed to make it more appealing for those who have New England ancestors and want to see the area through photos. Things I’ll include are typical white New England churches, libraries showing their genealogical collection, historical societies, cemeteries, war memorials, in general, anything to do with history.

For four years I’ve blogged mostly about my personal genealogy in New England (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire), New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Wyoming, and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. I still will, can’t forget my own roots.

Please check out the labels on the right side for articles. The header tabs at the top are a work in progress.

A Sunday Visit to a Greenhouse

It is a sunny, windy 30 degree day, so we went to the Lyman Greenhouse in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Beautiful! I love that pot of pansies. They are such joyful spring smile makers!

Your beautiful flower photos remind me of how ready for spring I am (as if I forgot!). Thanks for sharing, Barbara.

Thank you Carol and Nancy. The pansies greeted us as we entered the greenhouse. Nancy, that is why I went, to see what spring looked like.
FYI: these were taken with my camera (shock, it's been a year since I used it), but some of my iPad photos are better, so I'll be posting some and/or replacing what I have later today.
