Genealogy Obituary Poem

Last year I posted an Obituary Poem for Bill West's Poem Challenge. The submitted poem, here, was about a person I had no information about. This past week, Charlotte found my blog and was happy to see the poem posted, as she had recently received a copy from a Historical Society in New York. When Charlotte offered to share her genealogy with me, I was delighted because some Adams and Mann surnames are in my tree, but as yet, I've been able to connect to them. This is an example of receiving information from two people, my cousin sending it to me last year, and then another person contacting me offering to share some information. Thanks ladies.

1.Jason ADAMS was born 19 JUL 1794 in New London, New London Co., Connecticut, and died 28 FEB 1887 in New York. He married Betsey MANN, daughter of Nathan Zachary MANN and Elizabeth MESSER. She was born 1796 in Massachusetts, and died SEP 1879 in Sheldon, Wyoming Co., New York.

3.John Q. ADAMS (Jason ADAMS) was born 1821 in Java, Wyoming Co., New York, and died 26 JUL 1894 in North Java, Wyoming Co., New York. He married Mary WEST. She was born 16 JAN 1822 in Middlefield, New York, and died 16 SEP 1906 in Arcade, Wyoming Co., New York.
