Life From The Roots: Boarding House Park, Lowell, Massachusetts -- A Quiet Place and A Festive Place

The Boarding House Park is a favorite place to sit and relax, or pass through when on your way to the Boott Cotton Mills (operated by the Lowell National Historical Park) shown behind the green stage below or if you are visiting the free Mill Girls and Immigrants Exhibit on the left side. The park is located at the intersection between French and John Streets and is adjacent to the John Street parking lot. The rain location is across the street in the Lowell High School auditorium.

Both the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival and the summer-long Lowell Summer Music Series will use the Boarding House Park.
