Descendants of Nathan Gillett of Connecticut -- Surname Saturday

While going through copied pages from various books made years ago, I discovered I had another direct line to William Gillett of Connecticut. My tree was done for William's son Jonathan Gillett, see HERE, but I had little on the other son, Nathan, and didn't even know he was an ancestor! I found out when I read the below statement, and saw my Dinah Gillett and Joshua Higley as descendants that I got thrilled. Thanks to The American Genealogist's article "Nathan Gillett's Earlier Descendants" by George E. McCracken. Vol. 56 : 129 (July 1980).

"All writers on the Gillett family listed in our recent Bibliography are unanimous in stating that Jonathan1 Gillett had with him in Windsor, Connecticut, a brother named Nathan1 Gillett, yet the great majority of them, having once mentioned Nathan, drop him like a hot potato, and the few exceptions give brief and faulty accounts of him. It is therefore high time that some attention be given to Nathan's earlier descendants."
