The Life From The Roots blog topics have changed several times since I began this blog in 2009. I initially wrote only about the family history I had been working on for 20 years. Years later, I was into visiting gardens, historical homes, churches, libraries that had genealogical collections, historical societies, war memorials, and travel/tourism places. I also enjoy posting autographs and photos of famous people I've met or have seen.

Along with my New England roots, other areas include New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada.

36 Last one October 15

Well, it's been a fun 17 years. I'm closing my blog on the exact date I began it, that is October 15. You can see that first post below and what the topics were as my guest posts. My first guest one was in 2006. I haven't decided when to take this down from the internet. There doesn't seem to be a way for you to let me know your thoughts about that.

I I hope to check all the links I've done recently and work on the Library on the legend. Will I ever post again, I don't know.

For a short time, the above photo was used for my blog heading. I had to wait until summer to take the one I still use. My iPads (5 different ones) took about 99% of the photos you see.
