The Life From The Roots blog topics have changed several times since I began this blog in 2009. I initially wrote only about the family history I had been working on for 20 years. Years later, I was into visiting gardens, historical homes, churches, libraries that had genealogical collections, historical societies, war memorials, and travel/tourism places. I also enjoy posting autographs and photos of famous people I've met or have seen.

Along with my New England roots, other areas include New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada.

Please check out the labels on the right side for topics (please note, they need work). Below the labels and pageviews is a listing of my top nine posts, according to Google. Four of them pertain to Lowell, MA. These posts change often because they are based on what people are reading.

Did You Contribute to my Top Ten Two Years Ago?

Your Top Ten -- Not My Top Ten
Below is the post I did almost two years ago (see above date). Recently, I realized it is among my all-time top 10 among readers. As a matter of fact, it is #2, after my Adams surname. See my most popular posts on the sidebar, on the lower right-hand side. I thought, on this almost anniversary, it would be a good time to share it with my new readers. The contributors might get a kick out of it too.

As a little twist on the annual Top Ten most popular blogs for 2010. I've decided not to list mine but, welcome readers to post their top 10 or top 5 OF THEIR OWN posts in the comment section. There are now 18 entries, so there is lots to read, not just for now, but for when you have time in the coming weeks. I'm asking for your title and link only. If you already posted to your own list, you can do it here as well.   Bring on 2011 2013. Happy New Year everybody. (Note: My spacing might be off, but that is due to copying what was submitted.)
