Recently, the New England Historic Genealogical Society's webpage, American Ancestors, announced adding additional Mason Membership cards, surnames M to P, into their database. (This is for members only, not a free database.)
A quick look at the Poole surname brought up three members of my family. What I especially liked was they have the birth date, location, death date and occupation, a nice new source.
Fitch was a first cousin, once removed to George Sanger Poole.
George's son Irving also was a Mason.

This is a great resource. I found my great grandfather's records, which mentioned he died in the Masonic home in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I called the Masons and they said that home was closed, but the new one had the records, which were mailed to me. It was well worth looking at this database!
Hmm. I need to renew my membership!
